First Grade Prayers
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You.
I detest all my sins because of Your just punishments,
but most of all because they offend You, my God.
Who are all good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace,
to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer You all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings
of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
I offer them for all the intentions of our Sacred Heart:
for the salvation of souls, reparation of sin, the reunion of Christians.
I offer them for all the intensions of our Bishops
and all Apostles of Prayer and in particular for those
recommended by our Holy Father for this month. Amen.
